Daniel Landers, RMT

With over 20 years of experience, Dan (he/him) is passionate about helping clients feel their best through personalized, therapeutic massage. He takes the time to understand each client’s needs and goals, tailoring every treatment to help relieve tension, reduce pain, improve mobility, and promote relaxation.

Dan believes that great care starts with listening and treating each person as an individual. His goal is for every client to leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Outside the clinic, Dan enjoys the simple things in life — spending time with family and friends, travelling, and taking early morning walks along the beach. For Dan, balance, connection, and taking time to enjoy life are just as important as taking care of the body.

I believe in working with people from a client centred, trauma-informed, systems-level perspective. I like to incorporate grief perspectives, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and dialectical behavioural therapy approaches in our work together. I also draw on approaches that come from Mad/consumer survivors, hearing voices, sick, and disability communities as I believe people are the experts of their own experiences.  I recognize that one size fits all approaches are rarely useful and like to work collaboratively to find an approach that works best for you.

I would love to hear from you if you think we would work well together and you would like to schedule a 30 minute free consultation. Registered social workers are often covered by private insurance plans. I also have a limited number of sliding scale spaces for those with financial need. Email Dan.
