Kate Hilton (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist. She is primarily a relational therapist although her approach is informed by Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Kate’s particular focus as a therapist in on life transitions and transformative change. She is interested in how we shift our understanding of identity as we pass through different life stages. Kate believes that, while life transitions can trigger profound emotional reactions such as bereavement, anger, anxiety, and depression, they can also be extraordinarily empowering. Kate enjoys supporting clients through these periods of change.
Kate also works with couples and with other individuals in dyadic relationships (for example siblings, friends, parents and their adult children) who demonstrate mutual willingness to strengthen their relationship through meaningful communication and genuine emotional expression.
Kate works online exclusively.
